The vision of SkiesRBlue stables may have started with Matthew Laffoon in Brunswick, Virginia in 1727 or it may have started with Charles E. Beckman in Tennessee in 1818, long before my family moved to Illinois, Missouri, Colorado and New Mexico. In either case, well bred and well trained horses have been part of my heritage for many generations. At SkiesRBlue Stables, I have continued this family tradition by searching far and wide for the finest and most naturally gaited Tennessee Walking Horses and Spotted Saddle Horses and bringing them to New Mexico where I continue to preserve the natural gait of the Foundation Walking Horse. I currently stand Pride's Spotted Spirit, a black and white homozygous tobiano stallion whose foundation tobiano genes come from Sandy Sun's Sally and Curlee's Spotted Allen. A Chance Encounter and Chance's Nellie Be Mine are full siblings who's breeding has remained true to the vision of the utilitarian~versatility Walking Horse. Chance's Dusty Gold represents some of the finest and oldest foundation breeding from middle Tennessee.
